From the NYT’s…Faces of the Dead

Filed under: The Human Cost of War — bobfunke @ 2:26

Here is a link to an inter active piece in The New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/us/faces-of-the-dead.html?ref=us#/hosey_michael_w  documenting the nightmare so many families have had to endure.

One must add civilians to get close to an accurate count of what these wars have cost us in human lives. In human terms, we must also count all of those  wounded and maimed, both physically and psychologically; we must add the suicides and the attempts at suicides; we must add the families and friends of those killed and maimed, from every aspect.

War is not the answer.
